Today I'm celebrating first anniversary in Yamapi fandom!Exactly one year ago, while downloading random stuff on Soulseek, I found pv of Daite Seniorita. After that everything was happening so fast: first drama Nobuta wo Produce and later Kurosagi, NEWS, Johnnys, KenKen no Heya...
I was really lucky to find this fandom and it gave me so much! During this one year it changed my world completely, making me realize there were beautiful things all around that I didn't noticed before and helped me to meet a lot of wonderful people (^^)
I never thought I could become such a positive person and see everything in pink *laughs* It was experience that put huge mark on my life and I hope it will stay with me forever~
When I think back, I feel like this was destiny and I only regret I didn't notice it earlier
I don't remember if I heard about NEWS before that, but I'm sure the first impact they put on me was in December 2004 when I went to Japan for the first time. Even through I was into visualkei at that time and didn't like pop at all, I still clearly remember seeing NEWS posters around Tokyo.
I was overjoyed to see Japan for the first time after 6 years of loving it, so I was taking a lot of useless photos. And then there was this one poster that I saw everywhere and it was incredibly drawing my attention. I don't know why, I never was a fan of Beckham and I didn't know a guy that was on a pic with him, only suspected he's an idol. But somehow I couldn't take my eyes off it everytime I passed it by O.o;
So when one day I was waiting for train on Harajuku station, and this poster again appeared in front of my eyes, I took a picture...
I posted more pics from Tokyo on 5th August
Second time was already in London, in first half of a year 2006. I didn't had internet connection at home and was using internet cafe. When I had some time to kill till my session expired I start to run throught YouTube and look for english subbed clips with jrock. Then, I found NEWS first time on Domoto Kyoudai. I had tears in my eyes as I was trying to suffocate my laugh (because it was public place) XD
Even through NEWS was near me all this time, it took me a while to notice they presence. But I'm glad I found them in the end :)
I hope I can celebrate more of these anniversaries in future (^^)~

actually i was looking for nobuta DVD SP all over the net (not on MU cuz my computer hates it)when suddenly i realized you might have it on your blog (i was right cuz i feel like i've seen it before here ...just don't have the urge to download it at that time..now i feel like watching it cuz i love that drama so much)

I remember visiting this place when it first started ~ x) this fandom really sucks you in doesn't it? I was never a fan like this of anyone until pi came along xD and now it's been two years @.@ haha.
The same for me too haha, I had passed the JE boys on the internet before I knew anything and had a magazine with pi in it and then realized years later who they really were xD

Nice story. I saw Yamapi in Nobuta wo Produce about one years ago. That was my second dorama what I saw in my life (First was Kimi wa petto). Originally I chose to see this dorama because I saw pictures of Kame and I was curious. But I became a fan of Yamapi after I saw it. Then I started to find information about Yamapi. And I saw that he is a singer in NewS.
NewS is my favourite jpop band and I don't care that a lot of people hate them because they are popidols.
You are very nice that you share with us a lot of informations and videos about him and NewS.

And because I didn't really notice Yamapi the first time I saw him, so I can't remember the exactly day like you do ^ - ^.
